Also available, but not included in the sale price for Pilates Unlimited:
- The strata commercial property, 1100 sq ft, containing the studio, the reception and the executive office is also owned by Monique Haziza. There are many advantages to a business owning its premises. Long term control, cost control and equity building are the obvious ones. A package deal for both the business and the commercial real estate would be a very wise move.
- Monique would consider a training/transition clause to either train a business person in Pilates or a Pilates professional in business. This would be an additional cost.
- Monique has developed an internationally recognized program for training Pilates instructors in Mat 1, Mat 2, and Classic Pilates equipment certification. These copyrighted class materials and instruction could be licensed to a qualified buyer.
- Monique would consider a non compete clause in the sale contract.
- Canada's Immigration policies give special consideration to new residents investing in established businesses (see link below).
- The broad and flexible licensing and permits in place allow for the new owner to enhance the business mix with their own talents and experience.
There are a range of other opportunities embedded in this business. Retail sales of fitness related clothing, nutritional supplements, and fitness books and equipment are permitted and
licensed. Body work - massage therapy, Rolfing, weight loss, chiropractic, are also permitted and licensed from this facility. Internet sales through the website have never been exploited
